The Presidents’ Message – August 2014
Wow!! It’s already August, where does the time go. Trust you all are enjoying the summer each in your own way.
We have a few activities coming up shortly for you to keep in mind. This week end is the Swigart Museum Tour. The next will be our annual picnic and corn roast this year being hosted by Ken and Marilyn Amrick on Sunday August 17th at 1:00PM. Then we have a day tour hosted by the Panhandle Region on Saturday September 6th, full details will be coming shortly and for sure you can get the information at the picnic. Remember invite a friend to come and join us.
As for your “T” saga, Skip was able to have the car together and ready to go to the North Carolina Tour. I have never seen so many Model “T” (240) in my life. Had one more event on Tuesday when we had an electrical fire, but was able to continue the tour and we had a great time. I would encourage all our members to next year pick a tour and take it. Great Times can be had by all.
