Hello to All;

I know it sounds like a cliché, but its Christmas Season already!!!!!! How can it be? It seems as though we just got our cars out of storage last week and were getting them ready to go to Meyersdale! Wow!!!

I have to say it’s been a good year, we had good activities, one every month. Some were day tours to places like Meyersdale, Summit Hill Climb, Cantankerous Ts, Annual Corn Roast, Rice’s Landing, Coopers Rock and Oakland Md. The trip to Elkins W. Va. For RR tour, dinner and American Theater. And still to come the Elkins American Dinner Christmas Theater trip for December 12^th. Last but not least the Christmas Dinner at Nemacolin Country Club on December 6^th. So good job everyone who helped in planning and for all those who participated.

We have a few ideas for next year, but we would like to hear yours as well, so let us know if you have a favorite spot to tour and visit, or just a general area to drive through on a tour.

Upcoming events still this year;

American Theater, Elkins W.Va. December 12^th & 13^th. We will meet on Saturday the 12^th at 11:00am at Panera Bread, Uniontown and will be leaving around noon for Elkins.

Annual Christmas Party Dinner at 4:00pm at Nemancolin Country Club, RT 40, Richeyville Pa. Reservations must be in by Wednesday November 25^th.

So start thinking on what you would like to do in 2016. Our next regular meeting will be Friday February 26, 2016 at the Perryopolis Municipal Building.

On behalf of the Mon Valley Region Board of Directors and myself we would like to wish to all the members a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
