From the Mon Valley Region’s Oval Office
Hi folks! Well, here we go again and let’s hope we can keep going. Spring is just around the corner with summer hopefully in “hot” pursuit. I speak for everyone in my first message of the year in extending thanks to 3 outgoing Directors for their service to the Mon Valley Region, Skip Seaton, Wib Caldwell and 3rd but not least the infamous John Musisko. These members have served our club long and well. THANK YOU!
Don’t frett anyone, Skip, Wib, and John are just taking sabbaticals and are still members of our regional chapter. We have a new board of directors and some new officers. The new officers are myself as president, Jim McCune as vice president, and Francis McCune taking over the office of treasurer. Bill Maurer will remain secretary, Tom Milan will head the activity directorship, and Dave Tomasic remains keeper of the web and will take on communications duties as well. Your new board has already convened a meeting and a couple of interesting tour possibilities were suggested. Our activities director will have details as they flesh out during the first general meetings of the year slated as usual to be at the Perryopolis Boro Bldg. Tom or any director will always welcome suggestions, ideas – and help with tours and activities. So bring your ideas so they can get to Tom.
