January 2015 President’s Message
Happy New Year to all the members of the Mon Valley Region AACA and your families. I have been somewhat delinquent in my duties and spent Christmas week in the hospital with some breathing issues. Jeri and I still had a good Christmas and we hope you did with your families as well.
It’s amazing how fast time seems to go faster and faster with each passing year. So I guess to keep up with its pace, we need to do some planning ourselves. Starting with our Annual Dinner on Saturday, January 24th at Union Grille, Washington. Additional information will be sent out shortly. This is where we elect our board members, the slate was set at the December Christmas Party, and if others would like to be nominated we can take those prior to the vote.
There are a few activities that are being explored currently by the board as well as information on tours for the group, both with the AACA as well as our own. So if you have a suggestion you would like us to consider, please let us know so we can include it in the discussion.
Time to start those winter projects to get those cars ready to go. Skip has assured me that the “A” will be done in 2015 (hopefully before December), and the “T” is going in for top repair and side curtains, so I hope to have all 3 ready this year.
Happy New Year and let’s get started.
